Good Green

I know, I know. I'm literally coming out of the woodworks with this post. I've had a lot going on and I ran into a creative dead in. But you're not here for excuses, you're here for the ingredients of this esthetically pleasing smoothie. Either way if you're here thank you for coming back and enjoy!

Kale Smoothie:
1 1/2 cups of milk of your choice
1 handfuls of Kale
2 Bananas
1 spoon of peanut butter (almond butter is also tasty!)
Small clove of chopped ginger

How to:
First off certain ingredients can be multiplied or subtracted at your discretion. Be sure to take the kale off of the stems, no there is no way around it so just take the time to do it. It's hella tedious but you'll be happy you did it in the end. The portions listed above make 1 smoothie. If you wish to make more, just double up on the portions!

  1. Pour your milk into the blender. (I use almond milk)
  2. Then add the bananas (you want these to be frozen bananas fresh out of the freezer)
  3. Add the Kale
  4. Add the ginger
  5. Top it all off with your peanut or almond butter

Now you're ready to blend! Your smoothie should be nice and clean, and ready to drink!
